At Corning, we live all of our core Values all of the time, in our facilities all around the world. Quality is one of our Values and is engrained in our company culture and language. We design Quality into all of our products, service, and manufacturing processes.

Quality in manufacturing is celebrated across the globe, having originated in Japan. In the United States, former President Ronald Reagan proclaimed October as National Quality Month. “Quality in manufacturing and services will contribute to increased productivity, reduced costs, and consumer satisfaction,” he wrote when signing Proclamation 5249, establishing National Quality Month.

The United Nations took this celebration a step further by globally recognizing Quality in 1990 and commemorating World Quality Day, celebrated in November. The world celebrates Quality milestones, advancements, and achievements on November 14, 2019.
