Corning employees in Southeast Asia care for their communities through volunteerism, donations, and promoting wellness at work.
For their culture of commitment to service and mindfulness, the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Singapore recognized Corning's corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts with the AmCham Cares Award for the second consecutive year. Corning ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) received a high-distinction certificate of recognition for corporate and societal excellence for creating sustainable economic and social value in local communities.
"Corning Singapore is honored to be recognized as a winner of the 2020 AmCham Cares Award and ahead of 34 other distinction award winners,” said Cheong Tong (CT) Ho, general manager of ASEAN region, Corning Singapore Holdings Pte, Ltd. “This is a great recognition of our efforts to make meaningful contributions to the communities we work in and to enrich our employees' overall wellness and sense of inclusivity."
