ALTOS® Loose Tube

The most commonly deployed dielectric outdoor cable design, with fiber counts from 2 to 288 fibers – and up to 432 fibers for gel-filled. Dielectric loose tube cables are suitable for lashed aerial and duct installations.

Fiber counts from 12 to 864 fibers. 12 fibers are arranged in a ribbon, enabling fast mass-fusion splicing. These cables feature steel-tape armor so that they can be installed directly into the ground without the use of a protective conduit or duct.

Corning® RocketRibbon® cables provide up to 432 fibers in a high-density, lightweight, and durable design for easy handling and installations in tight spaces and extreme environmental conditions. Central stack variants have a single stack of 12 and/or 24-fiber ribbons surrounded by a protective foam and water-blocking elements ensure the cable acts as one unit.

Corning® RocketRibbon® HD cables provide up to 864 fibers in a compact design and long-term reliability in aerial, duct, and direct-buried applications. Stranded variants with up to 6 subunits containing stacks of 144 fibers that can be easily routed directly into hardware without furcation.
